M45 is only really good for up to a 1.6, will do very little on a 2.0
-

the same. tbh if your not going to do it your self you will pay about£5000 for a garage to fit a charger.
So much more work than your probably thinking.
-
This is exactly why we just say to fit a 1.8t....
-
This thread is a bit of a fail tbh
-
Are you old enough the drive?
-
Sounds like the GolfGTI record player is broken again.
-
Nitro for the win..
-
:) isit a long process to fit a turbo ur self???
-
Research it fella. This is covered a few times a week so there's plenty of info threads kicking about. Don't expect to do a turbo/supercharge conversion for anything under £1500 though, even if your welding and fabricating skills are amazing.
-
Nah, all you do is slap on a Trust T88 turbo, and bobs your uncle 800hp on standard internals
Here's the linky just in case you missed it http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=192294.0 :)

Wrong, the M45 was desgined for 2.0 to 3.0l Mercedes, the Cooper S varient runs lower % overdrive plus its a very good flowing head. If you know what you're doing the power is there to be made4

=D can u do a twin turbo conversion on mk3 2.0 16v??

=D can u do a twin turbo conversion on mk3 2.0 16v??
Nope not really, 1 would be enough.
-
 i want 2
-
 i want 2
What would be the point, you could only use 2 small turbos and a bigger turbo would give you more.
Plus you will struggle with room and heat issues etc.
-
Sell your mk3, buy an R32, then you can go bug the mk4 section on how to twin-turbo that, as that can actually done.
-
Or buy a clio sport and race mk 3 golf`s.. :nerd:
-
Or don't post when you aint got a clue to what your going on about!

you can but you need to fabricate your own manifolds
and thats gonna cost you a lot in a pipe bender and welders etc
get yourself a vr6 engine and slap that in,but then thats gonna cost your a bit putting that in yourself
just get yourself a vr6 car, less time and cost
