Hi,
On what ecu are you looking at getting the immo bypassed?
-
We can do this mate.
What do you charge for this matey?
-
Cannot map out air bag issues, but the immo can be patched out.
What ecu and what car is it going in? Some ecus you can sort the immo out by using vagcom.

As per above

i got my fully decoded at jabba sport for £100 delivered to me

i got my fully decoded at jabba sport for £100 delivered to me
Why have it decoded when going in an agu? Only time to decode is if going in a car with out clocks and matching keys to the clocks
-
well the immobiliser taken off , as i'm using the mk1 key and clocks
-
Tis the airbag I'm interested in?

There are airbag areas in me7.5 1.8T engine ecus (nothing like AGU ecus which dont have ecu coding in the engine ecu)
I am going to have a play with ME7.5 AUM Codewort Tester: Airbag-Botschaft to see if it stops the DCT flag or code on my Golf but I am 99.9% sure its just comunication error between contollers talking to each other not to stop the dash light as this flag would be from the air bag controller?
Other areas to look at
Soll-Checksumme der Airbagbotschaft
Timeoutzeit für Airbagbotschaft
verlängerte Timeoutzeit für Airbagbotschaft
Zähler für Codierfehlererkennung der Airbagbotschaft
Fehlerklasse: Airbag-Botschaft

Yes mate.

Sorry Craig, just noticed your (various) replies.
Yes we can decode ECU's but it depends on what the customer is wanting to have coded or mapped out i.e. IMO, EGR etc.
Nick is right, some things cannot be fully coded out such as Airbags. I just assumed the OP was asking to have his IMO coded out.

Thanks mate, I (Craig) don't have any experience airbag coding in the ECU department

i cant see why he cant do it yes theres the part number on the ecu but ive asked him for his number and ill ring him in the morn and get some info and ill keep you posted !
-
got a txt off the geezer this is what he said
" hi i am sorry but im unable to do your ecu your car ecu is bosch motronic m3.8.
but i might be able to do this by removing eeprom from your ecu and reprogramming it but i need a car near by as there are a few possible dumps for this ecu or you will have to take and bring me the ecu a few times untill the right 1 will be programmed as it takes lots of time !
im thinking do i really want to chance this ?
-
Hello,
It's just 4 bytes of data to change in the EEPROM (serial memory) takes about 30 seconds to do with an hex editor. The hard bit it getting the 8pin chip to read in the programmer, our 8pin clip is about 12years only and on it's last legs. Pop the ecu into me one day and I will sort it out for you, you just by dinner to the staff.
-
Na not worth it.. pm Danny_P he recommended me a company but have now forget the link DOH !
Nick im bringing mine down on the 13th for you to look at
