Get your own reader cheap from ebay
Try and clean the airbag plugs under the front seats

ok cheers for the quick reply.
ill try that, are the plugs easy to get to?
also i find when i unlock the drivers door by putting the key into the lock my windows sometimes goes down which is annoying.and where the fuse box is behind that there is a ticking noise.interior lights dont work when you open the doors but if i press them manually they come on very strange.
any idea on why i might of failed the emissions test for the mot?
cheers :)
