Post by: jmorris on 02 March 2011, 21:16
hey guys, im in the middle of changing my rear discs and im having trouble getting the 2 8mm allen head bolts out that hold the caliper carrier in place, i have done a search and seen that many people use the irwin  bolt removers i was just wondering if anyone new what size i would need so i can get the right set.

Not sure. I think one from either set should work.
I would just buy both sets.

I use wd40, a allen key and a bar to fit over the allen key for leverage. I don't find that hard of a job to be honest  :lipsrsealed:

They are worth their weight in gold.
I never understand why people chisel or drill the heads, when there is such an easy alternative
