looks mint mate, what the specs of it> is it a early GTI non turbo ??
Looks very tidy and if you can get blu's wheels for 50 squid, that'll be an improvement until funds are better?

If we can get that polo sold then mods should be forthcoming. Unless I sell the golf  :lipsrsealed: :laugh: classic
My first mod will be to take the stupid directline accident book out that she's gone and stuck in the front window (visible in first pic)

^^^^ True, neither is he a fan of my box!?
It's very big for a mk1 though but was part of the original build so reluctant to change it.

Yeah sorry, was reading the thread on my phone at work and totally missed the link! I quite like your zaust anyway!
Just been out to the car and lined mine up again  But yeah, think I like it. As long as it sits up quite high not hanging down. :undecided:
Where is that backbox? why isn't it on yet?
Doesn't look too bad actually! how does it sound?
Yeah it does look ok, would look better with lows though :lipsrsealed:
I gotta get 4mo rear valance soon though, so the exhaust fits better

Fixed :afro:
getting there now mate
wait till ya lowered you,ll love the handling then
Looking good Buddy.....only one thing for me is the rear badge. It does not look original and in my opinion would look better if this were removed. But does look nice Mate
Thing is Mate that anyone who's opinion counts would know it's a GTI anyway. Anyway I have come back to the badge myself Mate but am waiting to get some decent pics before posting any.
Some lamin-x over the headlights and you'll be sorted, looks really good :afro:
Contact Bored-Welsh-Lad, he was selling mk3 & 4 lower bumper vents made by Hofele. Ive got them on my mk3 and they're very good quality and you can attach a 3'' cold air intake to them quite nicely.
Bit of good news today.
Just been round my girlfriends parents house for a BBQ and her brother who is moving house says
'Craig, do you want a set of recaro seats for your golf? £20 and you can have em'.
Sweet! It turns out that theyre in his garage not being used and that me taking them off his hands is doing him a favour cos he hasnt got to move them to his new house!
Picking them up on Wednesday, pics to follow!
Pics!!!!
Pics!!!!
I know, I wrote that and then realised I havent took any yet
Ive only got the passenger seat and part of the rear bench in at the minute but I'll get some later when Ive finished.
They look good, nothing wrong with your old seats though, looks like there is plenty of life left in the current drivers seat.
So, blue seats in a red car, looks like some more colour coding will be on the cards soon then.

  Im still trying to work out how/if I can make it work. :undecided:
And yeah, nothing wrong with the drivers seat, as long as you like bits of t shirt superglued over huge holes on your drivers seats
Yeah, it was £4 off ebay, then £4 postage.
The seats ended up being free cos the mrs' brother was just glad to see the back of em and cos they werent Recaro's he said he would feel bad charging me
Sweet!
