Title: New suspension 16v
Post by: beechymonza on 01 January 2011, 15:08: Ok i been looking for some new suspension, As mine is totally knackered now, Seen these on Ebay, also seen some others in the Golf magazine made by JOM, Any thoughts,,

Yes Boge are a really good all round choice.

Nah mate i think im just gonna stick some boge inserts in my struts usin the 40mm drop springs i have in at the moment,

Easy enough to sort, some later cars did not have inserts however.

If you do go for the inserts, put some old oil or antifreeze in the housing then fit the insert, saves it rattling about.

88 will / should have inserts.
