Title: What is this button?

Any ideas?  :huh:

When I turn it on it beeps for about 5 secs, the LED goes red then the beep stops and the LED goes green?  :huh: :huh: :huh:

My thought's were that is was possibly some sort of aftermarket immobiliser

You'll just have to trace all the wiring back and see what it's attached to.

Some people wire a switch to the glow plugs in diesel models as a way around the glow plug relay. Try using the switch on a nice cold morning to see if it helps with starting the car.

rightcan you start the car without turning the switch on? If no then it'll be an immobiliser, if you can start the car it will be a switch for something else.

it may have been a switch for an audio system to turn the amps on and off, a go faster button etc etc

A mate had a hidden switch in his Supra. It was a vallet switch, kept the revs below 3k so if it was being cleaned or something similar, it couldn't be thrashed!

Not stealth enough for immobilser, the blinking LED is interestiong though like something is beinmg checked????, if it was me it would be dash off time to see where  it goes :grin:
