It starts for like one second then cuts out or off!

Sounds like the immobiliser kicking in  :undecided:

You can re-match the ECU to the clocks via VAGCOM - not sure how you do it though

Was it ok after the remap initially or has it been like this since the first moment?

If its been like that since the remap take it back and tell them to fix it, they broke it.

Who remapped it?

sounds like it just needs rematching to the clocks

I'd be asking for my money back from the tuner mind as I can't believe they have left a car in that condition

That very bad service imo, some one with a cheap ebay too on no clue?

Sounds like a bad flash, or fuse 11.  Check fuse 11 and the connections if they seem ok then it could be a bad flash.

Get the ecu posted out to me with the return P&P and I will fix it for your mate.

VAGCOM

When doing Dai's conversion we used VAGCOM to get the two talking to each other

aRD intially did the re-coding but we then used VAGCOM to pair them back up once in the car

Write a stock map back to the car, job done. I should write back to the ecu fine if not, they need to ground the eprom and write the ecu in boost mode.

I have all the stock files to hand if needed.
