Back in the day (when Autogylm was THE products to use and seen as a step up from Turtle) I wouldn't have used a sponge or applied and removed polish with a circular motion! I had no idea what wax was then either! I thought spraying Black to Black on the dash was a good thing.

Good question ! I would have bought more wisely having a better understanding of which products I feel are best at certain jobs, I wouldn’t have been sucked in by marketing busllsh!t and brands that are completely over hyped by people with a vested interest and end up being long on promise but short on results. I’d also be willing to take on more myself after realising that I can get results I’d be more than happy with without having to pay a “pro” every time I have a problem. Lastly I would discount the advice of anyone who likes to state opinions as if they were facts, horses for courses and all that

As Guy said, bin the sponge and chamois !

To be fair i`ve used AG products over the years and they have been fine you cant expect them to be as good as a product that costs 3 times as much.AG srp and AG gold sealant are very good products imo

Me to mate, I've got a few AG products and there may be better products out there but I'm happy with the results and I'll be using every drop before I splash out my hard earned on something else

The changes I've made and the money I've spent in just a year since reading all the advice on here is phenomenal!! I would say 99% of people have no idea how a car should be treated or the damage they could be doing...I certainly didn't! Definately gone is the sponge and those awful water scraper blade things.

AG are fully established ... the only product that I like is AutoGlym Polish as it works.

To be fair, back then I started off washing my car using Meguiars products as I had a black motor. And I actually did research so thankfully all thats happened in time is ive acquired a taste to better brands and shifted my loyalty to the likes of Chemical Guys, Collinite & still Meguiars.
