Urm hard to tell really.  Originally I did have 159bhp with a Custom Code map, then I added the SFS Performance Pipe and then had it remapped by R-Tech which then made 176bhp

Then I added a Forge pancake pipe and it made 190bhp but that was on the old rolling road software at R-Tech

With a full TBE it is producing the figures on that graph which is about right although that is with a dodgy actuator so its producing the boost quite in the way it should

New one of those is being fitted on Friday along with some more map tweaking

Best bet is the 50mpg + you still get with the performance

You got 15bhp from the pancake?!

no - the difference is between the rolling roads.  The 190bhp figure was derived when the current rolling road at R-Tech was running different software which calculated the figures differently.  They changed it back to an older version as it gives more accurate results which have been proven when stock powered cars have run on their road  :nerd:

What a horrid power delivery, though!  :P  :D

Much prefer the smoother, linear power delivery & higher revving of the 1.8 T!  :smug:

227 bhp & 259 lb/ft torque:

It was put back to stage 1 ((http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e345/ivormk4/Smileys/girlyfight1.gif)), so no contest there.  :(

New machine could be interesting, though!   :smug:

Maybe, just maybe, Rich!!!  :o

The potential lure of 450 Nm (332 lb/ft) torque, 212 bhp & 45-50 mpg maybe too great a tractor-beam to resist!
