When I put a Powerflow cat-back on my old 8v, that was off a VR6 and didn't need a reducer but I'd say the best thing to do is measure your current pipe against the one you are wanting to put on .

from the rear of the cat it will have a small connector pipe and if this is changed to the the correct size, any exhaust will fit (mine had a 16v/vr6 exhaust fitted by using an early 16v connector)

you'll need to buy...find a timax or bosal dealer and have a look in their book as this will show what's possible to use

Going off memory I'm sure the 8v uses the same cat as the early 16v and it's that models short connector pipe you need to use the 16v/vr6 downpipe

yes

and don't decat it....you may gain 2-3bhp but plenty of hassle for mot reasons

i think cat is same bore on all, its just front silencer that has big bore to cat and smaller bore on t'other end for rest of zausty. could be a year thing tho as above. get underneath and have a look!
