I had them on a few cars before and they was alright personally on VAG cars I would go for Miltek or Blueflame  :cool:

only as good as the person fabricating them really

Another alternative is to find a local exhaust place with a good reputation and get one made up

A lot of my mates have had Powerflow in the past and have never had a bad thing to say about them. As Rhyso said they have all used one particular Powerflow garage in Stoke on Trent so perhaps the guy there just happens to be sh1t hot?

You do get a lifetime warranty (as i think you do with Milltek?) so aside form the ahssle i suppose its not the end of the world if it breaks and its cost you half the price is it?

Having said all that i will be going for a Milltek catback due to the amount of good feedback on here, but i think their full system is massively overpriced  :undecided:

Exactly why i went to a local place - £300 for a catback system, fully fitted and with a lifetime guarantee AND a free LED keyring torch  :grin: :grin:

Kind of wish I'd gone to them for the downpipe too but hindsight is a wonderful thing

+2, i had a lovely system made up by blue flame for my old supercharged mr2 a few years ago, i'd originaly got a magnex system but the back box didn't last long as the over fueling burnt the arse out of the baffles in no time, disentegrated 3 magnex back boxes before i went to blue flame  :evil:

The blueflame system was better all round, quality, alot lighter than the magnex and the original, it looked the dogs  and i had no problems with the baffles it was spitting flames till the cows came home  :laugh:

This was the beast, you can see the blueflame exhaust in the 1st pic (note the back box is about half the size of the original and no cat the whine from the charger was awesome :evil:;

And the engine build i did;

Sorry for going off topic a bit there but basically yeah blueflame are decent systems  :smiley:

tonyg what engine is that ?? not a 3sgte is it ??

i think im going to powerflow in the new year, I just like the fact I can take the car back to someone if something happens to the exhaust, rather then phone milltek

No mate, it's the 4agze which is the factory power plant in the JDM Mk1 MR2 superchargers, 1.6 16v SC and also came in some Levins.

Thats what i liked about Blue Flame they said any problems just pop back with it though i didn't have any problems...

Ha ha cheers  mate it took alot of time £££'s and effort, it was fully lightnened and balanced, weight matched rods etc and i fitted an overdrive pulley kit which took the charger from 7psi to 14psi, it was a beast and redlined at 8k, sounded awesome and spat flames  :cool:

Didn't meant o hijack though, i just thought i post a pic of the blueflame but then thought it rude not to post a couple more  :grin:

I had a powerflow system put on my mk4 golf gti, i found it pretty crap tbh compared to my currunt blueflame system on my vrs, the powerflow system sounded abit poppy lol, and was expensive for the quality of the system. Would reccomend blueflame or custom system tbh.

I had a blueflame on my old vRS octavia and it was mint - took a bit of fiddling for them to get it to sit right when it was fitted, but was loud enough to sound nice outside with a really nice burble and not too loud inside the car even when I was thraping the hell out of it, I'd recommend Blueflame to anyone!!!! Its only £311 for a cat back blueflame from their ebay shop for a 1.8T Golf.
