Anyone changed their mats yet ? and if so do you have any pictures of them,preferably with gti on them and in red text.

I keep looking for decent rubber ones for the winter. Im sick of muddy, dusty carpet mats.

i keep looking at the mats but get bored with the choice half way through :laugh: :laugh: i just want to see some that someone else has had made so i can copy their order :grin:

I have the same red mats which I took from the ED30. Bought them from Ebay from a VW dealer I think they are approx £50.

What are those two yellow things in the footwell? Hammers for breaking glass in emergencies?

I was going to ask that too,why in the passengers footwell ?,surely you would want them as close to the driver as possible :undecided:

He has said in a previous thread that HIS CAR CAME WITH GTI MATS was very proud of the fact,i may not be that observant but i have a long memory :smug: :tongue:

Was that car supplied with the life hammers and if so why not UK purchased cars too?

I was not very proud about having the mats since I thought you would all have it as standard... I was just happy that I had them. :laugh: And yes the lifehammers were already installed when I picked up the car.

I asked the dealer about this a few weeks ago and they are going to change the brochure as the UK don't get this spec of mat.
