Title: Where can I find front splitters like these?
Post by: FroGTI on 22 September 2009, 16:52: Below is a PhotoShopped picture of my GTI with the front splitters from my dear departed BMW 3 Series. I liked them because they were so discrete and would love to find a similar pair for the GTI. They basically just stuck onto the bottom lip of the front spoiler.

Does anyone know if/where they might be available?

A child seat, lol. And yes, the splitters ARE discrete.

Post by: FroGTI on 22 September 2009, 17:29: I agree and I'm certainly not one for ostentatious add-ons, but I think they could look good if small enough (like they were onmy BMW). Don't worry, I won't be caking my GTI in ABT ghastliness :smiley:

Lol, what you don't know is that there are 5 more between the toddler and the 19 year old, hence the need for a Renault Espace :grin:

The closest I've found so far are these things from Rieger, but they're for the standard Golf and still look a bit tacky, IMHO. I want ultra-discrete and more OEM-looking.

Someone has also fitted the Seat Cupra R front splitter to an Audi TT with a little adjustment and trimming, but thats a full width add on below the existing spoiler lip !

Post by: FroGTI on 23 September 2009, 18:53: Thanks, but I am really after ones that look like the BMW splitters, but are shaped to fit a GTI. The GTI's nose is so tapered, I don't know if I could adapt ones from other cars.
