Have to say Waxamomo are fantastic!
Have tried a couple of different products for detailing but never had decent results so I emailed Chris through the website enquiry form and he came back to me almost instantly with recommendations.
The main thing I was looking to do was give my car that look it had the day I picked it up from the dealers!!
Anyway, a wash, clay, polish and wax later the car looks like nothing before, absolutely stunning....

Well, I made my first order with Waxamomo today, items came and were packed very safely!
My bottle of Dodo Juice Born to be Mild and Poorboys White Diamond Show Glaze came in one of those re-sealable bags then was rolled in few layers of bubble wrap then packed in a box full of styrofoam!
Was pleasantly surprised by free bag of sweets(will be putting in a request for fizzy cola bottles next time :tongue:) and also a thank you on the order form by Chris!
Thats some great customer service right there, I'll definitely be using Waxamomo again and recommending them to others!

Another satisfied customer, ordered yesterday afternoon, everything arived safely by 9.30 this am. Rain is getting in the way, but so far I can safely say the Poorboys Slick & Suds is excellent stuff, and I'm amazed at how much crud comes off while claying (ok, the car is 3yrs old & I doubt its ever been clayed before, but still). Its slow work, and everyone who walks past wants to know why you're rubbing your car with blu-tac, but well worth the effort. That guzzler is also awesome, way better than similar types I've tried.

hi, chris. mycar has been treated with a guard/protection product from new so i was wondering if i can still use the glazing,sealing and waxing products i purchased from you. i had bought these for my gti mk 6 but hat to reject the car due to a gearbox fault. so now i have an s3 which has had this treatment from new. thanks devito.

After afew reccomendations.
A good shampoo for my indigo blue golf, Already use autoglym polish/wax so just in the market for a shampoo at the moment, that will bring the paintwork up nice and shiny for waxing/inbetween waxes, is it best to get a shampoo that will strip wax/polish before waxing again?
Also need a washmitt and drying towel, was thinking a lambswool mitt and a big microfiber towel?
Finally a good quick detailer?

The things i'm looking to get are Poor boys Black hole, collinite 845, and some jetseal 109.
Is that a decent combo of stuff?
I'd be washing the car, then claying it, then collinite 845 followed by jetseal 109, is that the right order of using the products? Reckon i'd get a good deep wet look for a while with this combo?

Sorry I haven't been on the forum much lately.
Right, they are 3 good products you have mentioned, but i'd only go with either the 845 or Jetseal, there is no real point in having both. Buy one and just put 2 layers on :wink:
No special offers at the moment, there may be something in a couple of weeks time, just trying to figure out what I can do. There was suppose to be a little offer over Easter but I was that busy that I never actually got round to posting it up.

Think i'll go with poorboys and collinite then in that case, as the jetseal is only a sealant and not a wax right?

Yep, Black hole and then 845/Jetseal.
845 is a wax (although very close to a sealant), and yes Jetseal is pure Sealant.

Hi chris ok I am looking at buying some products to get my car looking sweet.
I have black paint with tiny scratches in in when sun shines on it. But my main problem is water spots dry on even before I get a chance to dry it and I can never get them off.
What products would be good for me?
I mean like wash, polish or even something for black paint that don't leave white in the stratches.
Realy want to have her looking lovely again.

just purchased my first product from waxamomo, bilberry wheel cleaner :cool:
after spending £610 on getting my alloys how i wanted them, i need to look after them, cant really afford to spend that sort of money again, im hoping this will do the trick in keeping them clean and protected (although after 2 weeks, i did curb one of the alloys!)
ive bought a 1 litre bottle at the moment as it fits in my cleaning box and the 5 litre doesnt, does a spray nozzle come with the bottle?

The best starter kit for around the £150 mark would have to include the Dodo Juice Buff Daddy, and unfortunately both me and Dodo Juice are out of stock of these at the moment :angry:
You would be looking at something along the lines of:
Dodo Buff Daddy - £99.95
Meguiar's No. 80 - £12.95
Meguiar's No. 84 - £13.65
2 or 3 Lake Country or maybe Hex Logic Pads at £8.95
Then just some 3M tape at £2.75 per roll.
That would be a good basic starting kit. Let me know what you think and I can let you know when we get the Buff Daddy' back in stock.

Hey, just ordered a pile of goodies from waxamomo, tried using the discount code "gimme5" from the first post on here but it didn't work... I know it's only £5 out of the £300 i spent, but just wondered if i was being thick and missed if it's changed or if it's no longer usable??

Only problem is lack of communication :undecided:, Ordered on Thursday late afternoon and paid extra for next day, order screen says complete but still no products or any response to my emails/calls :sad:
Anyone know a better number to get hold of them on??

No problem at all.
I would go for:
Clay
Dodo Juice Born Slippy Clay Lube - £5.95
Dodo Juice Basics Clay (2 pack) - £8.95
Polish
Dodo Juice Lime Prime 250ml - £12.95
Dodo Juice Blue Roo Applicator (to apply Lime Prime) - £3.95
Wax/Sealant
Depends on budget really.
Dodo Juice Red Mist is on offer at the minute and is a nice spray sealant
A good wax for a good price would be Auto Finesse Temptation at just £24.95
Also, you will need a few nice microfibres, something along the lines of the Dodo Juice Basics Red Microfibres will be perfect.

Could you please recommend me a full kit including mitts/cloths Id need for washing waxing and polishing. Something for the alloys and tyres also. Do I need to claybar? is shampoo polish wax sufficiant? never clay barred before.

I'd go with what in my opinion is the best shampoo on the market - Dodo Juice Born to be Mild, priced at just £8.95 for 250ml and is highly concentrated.
If you fancy having a go at claying, why not have a look at Dodo Juice Basics of Bling Clay lube and Basics clay, priced at £5.95 and £8.95 respectively.
I'm going to keep with the Dodo Juice theme here, go with Lime Prime as your 'polish' (250ml @ £12.95) and choose a Dodo Juice panel pot for a wax (£5.95) or maybe go with the basics of bling wax priced at £16.95.

Yes thanks, I got it the day I posted in the end. Have since had a subsequent delivery as well :)
So, I'm stocked up with snow foam, clay, wash, polish and wax and the weather's turned ****!
One question, I think I Snow Foam, rinse, leave car wet and then clay it + lube? Or do you wash and then clay?

You need to wash it after the snow foam and before claying mate, although the snow foam will remove some of the dirt it won't do it all and you'll just damage your paint if you clay it.

Thanks for letting me know about the deliveries.
You snow foam, leave it to dwell for 3-4 minutes, pressure rinse off (this gets rid of the worst of the dirt before you touch the paint with anything).
Wash it with your soap and mitt.
Rinse
Clay
Rinse (and re-wash if you wish - some do some don't)
Then dry, polish and wax :smiley:

hi,i've just bought a silverline rotary polisher and was wondering about pads and polish and maybe even needing a different sized backing plate ,i posted in the forum below but not sure how often you read that stuff.i have a black mk4 golf so which polish pad combo would you recommend ,car paint work is good but has a lot of holograms due to guy at bodyshop giving it a going over thinking he was doing me a favor,so looking for pads,polish,tape and a clay bar and backing plate if you do them ,maybe a bottle of snow foam to think i finished my last bottle of hyper mousse
