Title: update, H valve fitted
Post by: Wazzzer on 30 May 2009, 20:29
Guys help me, I've just been out fitting my new pollen filter and thought I'd put the N75 J back to how it should be and disaster...it broke in half!

now this leaves me with a massive dilemma, how the hell do I get to work on Monday!?!

Does anyone know if it can be bypassed as a temporary measure until I can order a new one?

Please help, I'm gonna try and glue the plastic back together but I don't see it holding very long

dont blame me if it damages anything but when i did mine, i joined the 2 small ones together and blanked the Intake pipe

I may have another solution, my mate is lending me his bleed valve, gonna connect it up and wind it right in so I can at least use it. Thanks for your help, I might end up doing it that way if the valve doesn't fit

TBH I don't have to go that far so no boost isn't really an issue, just an hour walk at 5am isn't that appealing

I don't think they'll have the H in stock but if it's available at the main depot it should be here by Tues which will be nice, I'll report back on how good it is

ooooooooooh now I like the H valve

Fitted it yesterday the right way round and had 4psi boost

so reversed it and away it went

absolutely flies now, boost seems to be more aggressive and doesn't drop off so much

I've bodged the J valve back together so I can do some proper comparisons at the weekend
