Seriously, you think they care when you bought it?  As long as you're the owner they'll say here's the fine.  30 days, or we'll see you in court.  Do you want that kind of hassle in your life?

yeah i do agree, worry about a problem like that when arrises, im pretty sure that when u get pulled over you can just turn the engine off anyway so they wont notice

so anyway before all you rude people hijacked my thread, can i just use a piece of normal exhaust pipe then?

Isn't the downpipe and cat one piece on millktek's and aftermarket's?

For another £100 i'd just get a sports cat. No need to take it off once a year, no risk in getting caught, no EML light, no smells, backfires or anything else!

Also decat's make it loud as fook!

JMO but I couldn't be doing with the hasstle and expense of swapping over all the time !

With regard to the engine light, you need to buy a spacer kit to bring the lambda probe out of the main exhaust airflow

but how does that still work cause u ov still not gettin the rite emmission.

The lamda probe sits in the centre of the exhaust, without the cat the emissions are to high.To solve this you need to bring the lambda probe closer to the edge of the exhaust,it reads lower emissions and doesn't through up the engine light
