Just rang VW for a price for an R32 rear spoiler was quite suprised £50 for the spoiler and about £15 for the fitting kit better add that to the list. :cool:

Didnt give me a part number mate I just asked for a price for an R32 spoiler MK4? It does sound proper cheap doesnt it? :huh:

i'd ring again mate and see if you can grab a part no - if they are £50 i'd buy a few and flog them on :laugh: :laugh:

He said its because people get a part number order it from someone else and then blame them if something goes wrong??

I'm not sure which part he's trying to sell you, but i just phoned them, gave him the part number

no worries, if they were £50 i'd have got one for myself and then a couple to sell at a profit on uk-mkivs (because they rip the arse out of the FIS clusters) / ebay :evil:

I'd expect to pay atleast £100 for one second hard, they normally go for around £150 on ebay, the problem is if they have been bonded they are a real pain to remove clean, so you often see people selling the whole boot + spoiler.
You also need to consider the added cost to have the paint removed from a second hand one, postage and how well packed it's going to be, at which point you're probably better off getting one brand new for just over £200 (unless you can find one closer to £100).
