Anyone know how I remove the walnut trim that's on each side of the stereo/heating controls?  The thin bits?

you can do it the easy way ie small flat screwdriver and try to move it upwards but tbh i would remove your side trim (of the centre section) and radio/cd player etc to leave just the cage and then remove that as a unit the side pieces can be pushed up and then pop out not to bad a job

possibly but at the bottom of the trim piece it curves round and under  there isnt much room  to lift as such iirc somebody(although i think not on here)has done it this way tbh i would remove trim etc and try it that way bob

i don't mind the wood trim either, but if you want to change your Knob you really need to match the trim.

my stereo surround n ashtray cover and driver handle inserts arent that bad in fact look fairly nice as the walnut effect is nearly black but whats pi55ing me off is the passenger handle(3dr) is a TOTALLY different colour to rest looks ............but im gona replace with black 'normal' handles and 2 different ideas ive got planned to try out for the surround n ashtray that havent to my knowledge been done b4    and if they look gash(hopefully wont) then ill spray reflex silver like RIDG's
