Detailing / Re: What detailing have you done today?

Finally managed to give it a wash. Not my finest hour and really didn't enjoy doing it. Was after an early shift at work and it was rather humid. Plus the filth that came off was unbelievable . Still, it's looking a lot better (from a distance) but does need decontaminating and sealing. I'm seriously thinking about going down the ceramic coating route but there are a few stonechips to sort out on the front end first.

Don't look closely at the wheels, there just wasn't time today

Looks good again @Watts.

Looking fantastic!
It's come up really well, I assume you had a serious wax or ceramic coat treatment to protect it since January?

No....

Last wash before the January one was in September when it was waxed.....

I had the standard GTI steering wheel retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels, who, while not the cheapest, are very well respected trimmers.

Looks OEM, but feels totally amazing (one of the best OEM+ types of upgrades I have done).

Trimmed using far better quality leather, slightly thicker that standard.

Fitted less than 250 miles, so unmarked.

Any questions, please ask.

Postage can be arranged, or collection from Bromley, Kent

£400

Amazing bit of kit. Easy to fit.

Really sharpens and somehow smooths out throttle response.

This is the more expensive version with Bluetooth control if you wish to use it.

Any questions, please ask.
