jv - Oceanic Green mk4 3dr 1.8T
« on: 17 July 2013, 10:48 »
With the Rallye MIA at the paintman, I couldn't stop looking at mk4's again

Bought this a couple of months ago, last 2 owners have been forum members...

Now being a sensible wheel addict, I already had other wheels bought before I found the car to put them on.

See those big brakes in the pic above? They don't fit behind the wheels... so this is a strong look yeah?

Top FAILing there.

Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Went to see some chap on the south coast. Allegedly he does trimming work but he always prefers to do dull stuff to my car instead.

Rear brakes refreshed with new discs and pads. Fronts switched to a set of vRS 312's.

Looking quite tidy?

Colour really changes in the sun!

RC's are for sale.

Check the classifieds section.

Engine bay had a bit of a clean

Wasn't convinced with the green faux-carbon engine cover it came with.

Looks to have been this kit:
http://www.thettshop.com/performance.asp?cat=6227&product=600438

Lot of value in it ;) Really worth it on a fairly stock mk4? :)

They had 10mm spacers with the RC's to clear.

A standard mk4! That's also a new one
Not many of them about haha
What's it's current mods?

Was the offset 35?
Would prefer not to run spacers but I guess I will have to on the road wheels.

The brake kit petty much a lcr set up then
What was the brake feel like?
May be interested if your selling

Was meaning engine wise - the 312's are enough of an upgrade.

7.5 by 18" et38.

Brakes have already been traded. They weren't as mental as I would have expected - I didn't exactly have them on there very long though!
