Lowering 40mm/60mm help please
« on: 03 June 2012, 10:28 »
Will i have problems if i lower my golf mk4 1.4 60/40mm on 16's?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Golf-IV-Mk4-1-4-1-6-60mm-LOWERING-SPRINGS-/160655754262?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2567d44416

I would prefer it to be a 60mm drop but if there's going to be too many problems then i'll just have to put up with 40mm

cheers

You will prob get front ARB rubbing if you lower is 60mm. That would be your only problem I'd guess...

You will need adjustable ARB drop links.

You think you will need adjustable drop links for a 40mm lowering springs?

I have just put back on my standard drop links for my new eibach FARB... :undecided:
