Had an afternoon to work on the car and getting it to play ball my way... mainly just setting up the boost to run fully open loop under full load to get the best and most linear boost profile.   With 21psi peak I am seeing 288lbft   not worked on the peak power yet just midrange on stock injectors and still seeing 244bhp.   So far looking good.

Tomorrow Jim is going to get the BAM injectors fitted and rip the engine apart to try to find fault..lol then we can move on to thr bulk of the tuning and logging and make power

Are you running yellow spring in forge actuator? it feels and acts like one

Nick

Another question nick, did you you do any dyno runs to start with? Didn't know if you would with the different turbo but was wondering what sort of figures it was puttin out

stock 165bhp 180lbft with ecu cutting n75 to 0% and cutting throttle plate angle.

Today was only to get control of the boost via writing a base line open loop n75 map, so basically making the ecu work like an electronic boost controller, so 70% n75 dc is my upper limit to produce 21psi peak 288lbft and taper to around 12psi  at the top end still with 70% dc to make 244bhp.    Tomorrow its Jims turn to work on the car to make sure and get the car mechanically sound, injectors, plugs, smoke test, pressure test, cam/crank timing test.

then wind the car up for power, the only flow limit I can see is the exhaust system.
