 :evil: looks like you need r-tech to map them .  :evil:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

Even if it was what I think was, then 270bhp is tops...

I reckon what happened was, the previous owner had the original turbo fail on him, he bought a unit off eBay or a online shop and this was available as an upgrade unit for the same price as a stock unit , so why not fit the bigger turbo... Some of these cheaper turbos are pretty good but you just have to remember you can gt them brand new for £300 ....

Hmmm could make a proper hybrid out of it  :evil: but I cba  :grin:
Will just sell put it up for £200 ono as a toyosport hybrid  :smiley:

Don disregard the ebay chinese/toyosports turbos, many people have no idea on how to tune them, I know of a certain someone who has had one running big power for years. Admittedly it was tuned by THE best in the business, its an anagram of T Rech.

One more thing i saw on your turbo was you wont be able to fit a silcon tip,it looks grounded off.One coment from a user of these turbos. One problem I had with fitting was the oem tip did not fit onto the compressor housing,I ended up machining mine out as I needed to be on the road that same day . :undecided: "Bolt on tip only".
