The issue I've had with detailing is time. I've done full exterior details (having done the interior either previously or the following week) that have lasted over 12 hours! (with breaks of course!).

Plan what you're going to do and how.

As for the Dodo Juice stuff, apply everything as sparingly as possible - it's very easy to overdo it. When I first started to detail my car, had no idea about how thin a layer of wax I needed and would try to 'gouge' out wax from the pot. Goes double for lime prime lite. Used this twice with crap effects - I would polish the car to a lovely shine which would then get taken away by LPL. Turns out the amount I was using per panel would have been enough for the entire car! With lime prime lite and the red mist, apply and then wipe/buff to a finish immediately rather than letting either product 'haze'.

nice one dude

as stealth stated use the dodo juice spareingly a little goes a long long way,

and as guy stated you need 2 buckets and grit guards.

tfr isnt mega important if your claying but it is very handy to clean stubborn crap off the rims and arches.

you will find the megs tyre gel very hard to apply with the foam applicators due to its glooopyness, id reccomend getting a good quality 2inch paint brush and apply it with that.

I had originally planned for snowfoam and a karcher etc but ive spent enough this month time to chill a bit. Might pick it up next month or add it to the good old xmas list

I only got 1 bucket and 1 grit guard, do I need 2 of each ?

need two buckets definietely - one for your clean water and then the other to rinse your wash mitt out after wiping down a panel

I have the grit guard in the rinse bucket - normally have to empty it two or three times during a cleaning session!! You'll be amazed at how much dirt comes off the car

Cool thanks, I'll grab another bucket from Halfords unless Chris from waxamomo can add one to my order.
