Shame it won't stay that way for long   On track to hit the 40,000 mile marker before crimbo

Just over 24,000.  Currently at 39,300 miles.........

Popped up to Grant's yesterday to reclaim my jack and use his garage

First impressions are good; road noise is minimal and grip seems good

Sadly my 18's will need a complete set of tyres when they go back on next year

Looks.....standard...

Which is ideal for unsuspecting victims

On the way to work the winter tyres are noticeably quieter than the ones I've just taken off (combo of PS3's and some chinese rubbish which were on the car when I bought it).  MPG is up a couple of points as the wheels are slightly lighter

Bring on the snow

Passed the 40K just before Christmas as predicted; closer to 41K now and about 300 miles overdue for a service......

Winter tyres haven't seen a flake of snow either   They have been impressive in the cold and rain we've had though so I'm reasonably happy.

Long term average is above 45mpg and improving slowly.

After the service its either going to be a case of make it go faster or make it stop quicker.........

Aldi and cheaply don't go together

Looking at S3 / R32 brakes; can't be doing with 312's this time around!!  Think S3 front's go for about £400  :undecided:
