I am using the Wheelbase offer (£1619)  to see if my local guy can match.

Crazy price considering I paid €1600 2 years ago.

Just gone for another pair of Goodyear Eagle F1s for £210 fitted. Not the absolute best price but they are local and do a good job.

 my circa 5 week old tyre has a nail right on the shoulder. My tyre place has done a temp repair but have advised it needs replacing.

My tyre place isn't hugely competitive on price and I now need 3 new tyres but for the sake of 20-30 quid saving I'm tempted to stick with them unless anyone can recommend an outfit like tyres on your drive or similar.

Wheelbase Alloys are offering a £480 discount on a set of 4 silver HLTs.

No idea if this is a limited or permanent offer but if anyone knows please post a reply.

I can’t find them on sale at under £2,000 anywhere else.

Please do as I will use this to decide what size I'll run the winter tyres.

Cheers

Yes, they do fill the arches better than stock.

I'm running 225/40/18 as I've read Michelin tests this size on 8J rims as well.

I am going for the HLTs like yours but with 235/40/18s Conti SC7s which match my 19" pretorias and tyres perfectly. Will post a photo when fitted.

Thanks for the welcome! I’m not a great photographer of my cars but will take some when I’ve cleaned it. Having said that, I’m not a great cleaner of cars either! Twice a year, whether they need it or not!

Welcome to the forum @BikeSausage, and look forward to seeing pictures of your new car, once you’ve done your first of two cleans at some point in the next six months! A dirty car would give me sleepless nights!. At this time of year, all those baked-on dead bugs play havoc with my car OCD

Welcome, but a clean car is mandatory😉😂

SRGTD - totally with you on the OCD position.

I am waiting to hear back from my mechanic about if the two replacement coolant sensors have fixed the issue of my current issues.

The car is throwing up some bills at the moment but I know these are largely wear and tear items or consumables.

Keeping my fingers crossed though.
