There will be damp air, the aircon prevents that if you have it on all the time.

Watts is right in what he says, the other consideration is the humidity sensor is working correctly when the a/c is switched on.

If your's is broken or not fitted? then this can result in constant misting of windows with too much moisture in the car as the a/c does not come on, or not for enough time?

Humidity sensor is in the mirror housing, you can see a few air vents around there.

My daughters Polo BlueGT used to steam up the windscreen when first turned on, turns out the air con evaporator behind the dashboard was leaking.

Since replacing that its never suffered misting up again.

What do you and her think of the BlueGT? I was very tempted by one before I got the GTD, but never went for a test drive.

I like it, 150bhp go kart, very taut ride and handles well with the XDS diff too.

Its got that drop 2 cylinder tech and tbh you can't tell when its engaging/disengaging between 2 and 4 cylinders.

I'm sure she likes it too after progressing  from a 1.2 3 cylinder Polo, but typical 22 year old - more bothered if her phone connects to the head unit, LOL.

Today I did something terrible to my TCR, something unforgiveable and demeaning to it's status as a performance car. I filled it with three 6'×5'6" broken down fence panels and took it to the tip....

But in fairness, that's why I own a Golf

They were quite tidy actually and broken down into evenly sized pieces

I try and time at least one tip visit during the year so it coincides with the day my car is being serviced. It’s surprising how much rubbish can be fitted into a garage courtesy car .
