No they aren't.  I changed them to blue LEDs.  You have to change the whole unit as the original white LED light ones are sealed.  So new units and then change the bulbs to blue LEDs.  Potentially you might be able to swap the original footwells units with the the glove box unit, and possibly the boot unit (if it fits) instead of buying new light housings.  Full details of how to etc here if you're interested http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=275882.0

Yeah, I'm really pleased with the mats, they look great with the blue footwells and the are so much better quality than the VW standard (or luxury) mats.

Gnasher, assuming you're the same on mk7 forum, did you have your push button replaced and was it different and if so could I get a pic, mines going and I can tell the dealer is gonna be a prick so if I can prove the part has been changed it may go smoother!

I did indeed have it replaced - never got a photo though. I'm not the first to have it replaced for that exact reason (which is the sharp parts of the N come off) so I doubt you'll have any problems.

They might check it first to ensure you've not been abusing it (how I don't know) but it's all good after that.

All good now, drove in, showed them the N and hey presto new on to be installed next week under warranty!

Not done to, but for. Been and paid off the finance. Took it to get the deposit contribution and the 3 years servicing. Should have paid it off much earlier but paid a high price for idleness  Still, all paid for and all mine

Now all I have to do is wash it, it is truly filthy, stupid weather

Hard wired a dashcam into the car. Followed the 2 different threads on the maintenance section and it was a breeze.

Which dashcam? tempted to get another, but avoid using it continuous for parking damage as that's what seems to fry them (overheating). For the first few days my Blackvue 650 was excellent.
Whey ya bugger! It's finally arrived after an 8 month wait....

It was just a cheap one I got for Christmas. Prestigio Roadrunner 320.

I've been thinking about getting one for the last couple of years and can't settle on a spec so think my Mrs just got me it to shut me up.   Like you I was wanting one for parking but there doesn't seem to be anything out there. I'm contemplating the Mini 0805 / 0806 and I'll just move the Roadrunner to the rear.

This is something I need to get around to doing. I have had a couple of attempts of people pulling out of roundabouts and then hitting the brakes trying to get me to hit them.

Is there any that do front and back or do you need to get two of them? I have seen some that do both but they didn't have great quality recording.

The BlackVue DR650GW-2CH does front and back which I'm sure Monkeyhanger had so can maybe tell you the pros and cons.

Or do you mean the one unit that does front and back?
