Why not have the inlet manifold polished

Loooooooooads of effort as Wherry has already pointed out. I tried to polish the cam cover on the 8v and no way I'm trying it again!

Won't be done before JKM wherry, infact it probably won't be done until summer time

Lazyness, that's terrible! i'm polishing my turd up to give it a proper shine!

Well yesterday I got in the car, only to find it wouldn't start (moisture inside distributor cap again), so I got it going with lots of WD40 again and limped to GSF where I got a new cap and rotor. Fitted that, and it improved by a lot, but it still had a slight misfire on the way back on the top end (fitted it at the GSF car park ). Got home, removed old plugs and  No pics but they were absolutely gone! The electrodes were almost worn completely out. Fitted some nice new NGK plugs and now runs sweet as a nut! No problems whatsoever on my way to Gatwick airport.

So one issue sorted, the next mod was on the list, the 16v brakes.

Gave them a quick wire brushing the other day, but I wasn't very happy so I got the drill wire attachment today and gave it some of that. Got them nice and shiny again and rust free

Also gave them the traditional Khare motorsport paint colour scheme

Mintex M1144 pads arrived today too, and I already had the goodridge braided brake lines

(Ignore GT5 )

Disc wise, I'd like to get something fancy with holes and grooves but I've run out of money for a while. I've got the standard 288 discs in the shed which I may stick on while I save up for better ones.

Hadn't checked them on the 16v

So minimum 1 year old plugs, they looked more like 10 year old though
