Lmao - that really is shocking. Dont really like much about the Seats at all.

hhmm but you would buy or let someone buy a Vauxhall??

I owned a MK2 Leon FR and while the dash isn't great it has a lot of other ++++++, the mk5 dash isnt the best either.I refused to buy the mk5 GTI on its release day as the dash was awfull even now I am not 100% with it.The mk2 Cupra is a lot of car for the money standard moddified it beats the ED30.

the new mk2 just looks wrong, my mate has the tdi fr, its fully loaded with all the toys you could ever want but it doesnt look half as good as the mk1 did. I think the Cupra R was one of the best looking hot hatches about and still is

I do love the Mk2 Cupra (in CW with black rims of course). But again I am another one that was put off with the big, massive grey dash centre..
Can't say i'd be gutted if I owned one though..

I agree in its time compared to the Mk4 Golf the LCR was a great car and you got a lot for your money, no question about it.  Starting to look a little aged now though - loved the time in mine but started to show it at 3yrs old with 85k on the clock

I wouldnt turn one down - the thing that stopped me getting one was moving from company car to private car.

i went from a MK5 GTI to New civic type R to Mk5 R32 and now have a cupra K1, yes the dash is crap but the car 6 months ago cost me Just under 19k with a few toys compared to the ed 30 that would of been around 24k. Don't get me wrong i really do prefer the Mk5 GTI/R32 in lots of ways but in terms of car for your money you can't really go wrong, as already said in standard form it is also quicker to 60 and quicker to 0 again!!!!

I wouldnt say the interior is "that" bad. Yes, I agree, the centre part of the dash is awful, but the seats are better in the Cupra than those in the GTi and Edition 30. The rest, in my opinion, is on a par.

Mechanically, the Cupra is superior to the Edition 30 as well with the bigger brake set up. It just didnt come with the DSG box option.

Pay your money and take your choice. I bought the Cupra and for the most part I am quite happy with it.

One thing I would say though is that the Cupra is better without the awful Aero bumpers though....

Nice seats !

Still cant get my head around the bubbly style of the exterior though.
