the bloke whoi just bought mine off shown me the receipt for the upgrade clips that he had fitted so no worries for me :)

Mine has finally gone on he passenger front side - the window was frozen and a mate opened the window and I heard the crack.

Phoned VW today - they want ?34.35 for each side (going to fit driver side too). Is this reasonable??

Also any advice on how to get them fitted?

Hello all .... my passenger side window dropped last night  ! ohhh joy !

so the RAC came out and the window is now help up with a peice of wood ....

can i ask what part im asking for on a 5 door Golf 1999 ?

its the clips im after i guess ... the RAC guy was very helpful , he even gave me 2 bits of white plastic as a memento  :rolleyes:
