yeah the guys at well lane told me the injectors and fuel pump were deffo uprated on the 150's over the lesser models, i assumed they were all the same untill they told me this

Haha....No offence to anyone here to catch your topic off guard.
But if someone could answer my question on price  range for the 130 and 150.

Dont get me wrong this talk o more power is great but i cant do it without knowing a price range for these vehicles :P

you will deffinatly get a 130 or 150 tdi for that money next year :smiley: just look hard and stay away from the over pricers they are only worth that kind of cash dont pay over 4k. i heard of a guy that paid just over 4k for a 54 plate mk5 tdi at the local car auction.also at the same auction a 54 diesel ford focus sold for 2.5k

Golf SOLD. Replaced with a Yamaha Raptor 660 quad and loving it. This will be replaced in August with a Raptor 700. Sold the quad now got a Vectra GSI 2.5 V6 and its the nuts.

Brands Hatch massive. MEMBERSHIP ACCEPTED!

Hi matey,

Are you lookin for a petrol or diesel?

I only ask because in the few cars suggested you have a mk4 tdi which will deliver 50mpg+ then on the flip side the M3 evo which you woukld peobably struggle to get in the mid 20 mpg's??

If you are lookin for somethin a bit sporty that wont cost the earth to run have you considered a Honda integra type R? a couple of my mates have owned them in their time and they are amazing cars and bullet proof!!

If you do want a diesel i think VAG is the way to go though!

Petrol , im not a Diesel fan.

Is there a big difference between the TDI and the GTI in the mk4s?
What year integra?? I was llooking at a couple of them or even a prelude . But i thought insuracne would hit me  harder than a mk4?

for about 4 grand you'd be lookin at a 96 import integra, maybe a uk 98 spec with high milage!

I used to own a import prelude vtec, it was a wicked car, can pick them up for peanuts now too!! insurance isn't too bad if you shop about!!

i think the mk4 TDi's are probably better than you'd imagine, most of the petrol models are a little under powered but the diesels, especially the PD, have bundles of torque!! The 130 TDi is supossed to be the better of the lot .

For that money 1.8T gets my vote but it really is all about going out there and driving them for yourselves to see what one suits you and which one you like best. After all its everyone to their own.
