Are there any gains in a) Panel filter
and b) CAI? (I probably wouldn't get this yet as the cars still under warranty

In general people seem to be claiming a 3 - 5 bhp increase with the panel filter, and 5 - 10 bhp with CAI. These figures are by no means gospel, and you probably wont see much gain at all (maybe slightly improved throttle response) unless used along with a performance exhaust. Personally I'm probably going for the Dynatwist... a local guy is selling his that's only covered a couple of thousand miles so he can put the car back to stock before he part-ex's it into VW.

Yo Tophuh and all,

Just got back from another RR session but with Vince at stealth, he said the figures I got were a tad wrong so he fiddled about with the settings/timing etc, then rr it so here are the results:

STOCKGolf GTI 1.8T 172.9BHP Flywheel: 165.0BHP wheels: 121.9
Maximum torque: 178.0 lb.ft

Revo Golf GTI 1.8T 215.7BHP Flywheel:205.2BHP wheels: 180.5
Maximum torque: 235.1 lb.ft

much happier with that, and from the previous rr vince managed to gain an extra 30 lb, of torque!!

Oh and he did this all for free!! (but i did promise to come back to get my exhuast fitted!! )

And yes I was gonna get the 4 bar FPR and the 4bar Revo software but Vince had no fpr's in stock......bummer so will have to wait for next week!! Now i'm off to the stealers to get them to check my suspension- getting weird noised every now and again!!! wish me luck
