ok explain im using this ntl thing called terrapin to upload the files to the website and at least 1 picture on each page comes out like that but the others dont. im wondering if it is an ftp server problem  ???

check terrapin for an upload mode.

there should be a choice between either binary and ascii, or possibly between binary, ascii and automatic.

when uploading pictures. using auto *should* work depending upon how that client has implemented it. but binary will always work.

or transfer as appropriate

i have changed it from transfer as appropriate to binary
