I've done exactly the same - gone to reset my trip meter after refuelling whilst turning the ignition on and had "Service in ***** miles".  Did it again because I didn't catch what the miles were and it then said "Service Now".

I wouldnt worry about it, pointless going to dealer, you haven't done enough miles to warrant a service anyway, its a just a preset as described.
