Thanks. Yeah it is, washed with a special mit and polished reguarly with auto glym polish, body work is as new if not better. If you dropped food inside you wouldn't have to think twice about picking it up and eating it lol.

The other set are rubber so I'm taking it that they aren't originals

I was looking at mats for my anni and on ebay their where some still sealed with a starting bid of £100 and people where watching them, also baring in mind thats its ebay so they will be cheaper.
Something else that might be worth remembering is that when me and my friend where cleaning his girlfriends new style beetle we saw that they have the same car mats as the anni but these did have the twist but on them to keep the mat in place and not the pop in and out ones that mine has (not sure if you guys have the same style)
