wahooo i have test drivern 2 8vs and 1 16v i drove the 8v 1st and i was like this is niiiiiiice and quite quick didnt want to rag it as it was a test drive drove another 8v that felt the same really and i drove a 16v last nice and the 16v deffo feels quicker low down it feels like the 8v but after the revs build up it really gets going and keeps going and going and going where the 8v needed a gear change, both nice cars to drive also the 16 sounds reallly nice when opend up.

I love my valver to bits but have owned an 8v and that was awesome too. In short theres no answer, if i could i would have both. There, thats it sorted, you need to have both then you will always be happy. End of!
i do a 60 mile round trip 5 days a week in my 8v through twisty's and i agree its easier to drive and gives the all important smile factor, my best mate has a 16v and i leave him at traffic lights everytime..he works in the same place as me and won't take his 16v it drinks too much fuel and its up and down the gear box alot.
