160 mph clocks in my j plate driver

Is this a straight swop? My car is a 1991 and has rev counter already

assuming the clocks have the same single plug design, they will work just fine.

if the 16v clocks are the twin plug design, im afraid they wont.

i do have a set of these hangin in my garage if u need the single plug type...  ;)

Because everything on my car is now 90's spec, apart from engine (of course) and speedo. Just wondering if it was a straight swop. Ill take em off and have a look at the back

if urs is a J plate, it will have the single plug

its the '89 cars and earlier that have double plugs

would be good if it hit 160mph. bit dodgy in  a mk2 tho!  :o

Ive had my drive off the clock down a big hill on the A500. But it only pushes 110 ish on the flat

You can swap the speedos between the clocks if they have different plugs, its easy to do.

Just take out the 8 screws/bolts on the back and swap the 'L' shaped circuit board thats clipped into the speedo (it has a thin black connector that clips to the blue PCB sheet, just be carefull and it will come off)
