Changing 57i kit back to standard box?

From that pic i'd say it's likely to go in the vacuum connector that has no line attached. Underneath that yellow valve thingy

Does your car have one of those analogue MPG guages?  It could be for that...  I think it attaches onto the carb somewhere (if not a GTI).

thanks for all your replys i attatched it to the underside of the yellow valve as advised and it runnins a little quieter but i must say it hasnt solveds the the problems i am mnow on my way to the scrapper to get some new vacum hoses for around the throttle and also to get a new throttle screw


will update you all tonight when i finally get to sit down.
