Changing 57i kit back to standard box?

Hi all i have decided to change the 57i kit back to the origional air box the problem i have is i am unsure where the vacum pipes are or go?


could anyone give me a idea of where they go or even upload a piccy of a standard box with vacum pipes

I'd guess an 8v digifant. There should be a sticker on the underside of the bonnet showing where they go

yep its a digi 8v sorry should have mentioned where abouts is the sticker.

Sorry, I cant help if it had been a 16v I would have popped the bonnet on mine and posted a few pictures.
Im sure some one more knowledgeable will be along soon to help though!

Hi mate,

have you got the standard airbox? IF so then you just have a hose from the back of that to the throttle body on the top of the engine.
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Plus the vacuum tubes that operate the cold/warm air feed in the bottom of the airbox.

Hi all just a update i have fitted my airbox and connected the vacum pipes its still runing rough after closer inspection i have found another vacum pape which runs inside the car via a gromet in the bulkhead i have posted a pic of where it comes out to at the moment it has just been taped off and doesnt go to anywhere do es anyone know where it should be connected to??


any help would be much appriciated
