right well following rich's painting guide and a trip to halfords later i have put 2 coats of primer on my new mirror case and first top coat not looking too bad so far  :cool:

could be the map did you get that 2nd ecu? i know on petrol turbos lag can be caused by igintion timing but wont really count on a derv  :undecided:

still trying to source one - there's a few golfs being broken on Ebay so hoping they'll sell me the ECU

got to elminate the MAF and N75 valve first but i'll also try a 2nd map  :wink: purely for scientific purposes of course lol

going to split this thread as i've kind of properly hi-jacked it lol

well to get it back on track my mirror was looking great until i tried putting laquer on this morning and it ran  :angry: it now looks poo so have to sandit back
