Yep, this has annoyed me.

I think it was Carron Cusworth from Customer Services was the one person that was adamant the plaques were coming in August/Sept... tomorrow is the last day of september!

both my letters came from LORRAINE BROWN , from vw uk at sheffield  (selectapost 12 , s97 3zu ) i m going to ring her tomorrow on 0845 3309 924 i think as many people as possible should

Just got an email back from vw regarding the plaques

Thank you for your most recent email.  May I apologise that you have been misinformed previously.

 I can confirm that Volkswagen UK will be providing owners of the Golf Edition 30 with a plaque as an acknowledgment that the vehicle is a limited edition.  Volkswagen will again be in touch once they have been produced.  However, this could be in up to three or four months' time.  The plaques will be individually numbered to denote your Golf's number within the limited edition run and will be fitted to the interior of the vehicle, instructions will be provided with the plaque.

Tell me about it. Dont think we are going to get anywhere. How can it take 3 months to make 2000+ plaques. They could probably knock more cars out in that time

Not bothering with it anymore. Dont like people taking the p!ss, especially after spending over £20k with them 
Cant beleive they are misleading their own customers, why dont they just give a definate answer?
Think i will be going elsewhere for my next car. Hopefully an audi TTRS.

I say we get someone with some artistic flair to designa qaulity one and we just get them made !

VW are taking the piss !!! also while were at it just reduce the number of Edition 30 made on the plaque to 1000, its not like wre all gonna be together to count all 1900++
