That is genuine TT as I have a copy too - given to me by my local stealer in November/December 2006.

This is a copy of the mail I received from VW today.

" ...the Case manager for your issue, has asked me to let you know that the plaques for the special Golf Limited Edition 30 are now with our headquarters in Milton Keynes.  If your vehicle is part of this Limited Edition, your plaque will be sent to you direct as soon as possible. It will arrive with fitting instructions."
