Here are some examples which show the sizes of the speakers (3 in the front doors and 2 in the back) these are the ones used by Hurdy with his Kenwood aftermarket headunit.

Woah! They ain't cheap speakers. I would be expecting some decent quality from them, but I'm expecting they would need a decent head unit and/or amp and some dynamat to get the best from them.

I'm hoping the std speakers with a small sub and amp in the boot to handle the Bass would sound good enough without that sort of expense and using the amp from a decent HU. I did this on my old shape SEAT Leon Cupra with good results, and also on my Mini Cooper and my last Beemer a 530i Sport. On my 325ti Sport BMW the speakers were so bad this didn't work! :(

Cheers. :)

Personally if I was going with an aftermarket headunit then I would replace the speakers, but there are some (AlanD is one I believe) who haven't replaced them and have been happy with the results.

Another one of those ETTO
