Carbon part wrap

Played with Photoshop to get a rough outline of a way forward for colouring the car.

What do you think?

If you do that to your car I will catch the next plane to the UK to come molest it.

That looks great. I have a few pics of that already done knocking about. I must take a look.

....I'm going to be brutally honest and make myself unpopular and say that I think this idea would spoil your car.

Your car is so distinctive and individual with that silver carbon bonnet and wing mirrors. Vinyl wrapping is really tacky imo. Also, I don't like black alloys unless they have either a coloured or silver edge at the tyre - Otherwise they look like black steel rims which the plastic hubcaps have fallen off!

Just my opinion and ETTO :afro:

I have to say I wouldnt be fussed on that either, but then again it is all about individual taste! One thing is for sure, there wont be another one like it so if you are happy Hurdy go for it!

In terms of your photoshop - I actually quite like it. It gives the car some character, and I like the contrast of the silver/black. Also quite like how you've extended the red from the grille.

I agree with RR, in that the wheels need to either be changed (i think the design of the Pescara's make 18's on the ED30 look tiny), or finished with a silver rim.

However....if its just going to be some tacky film then it would spoil it completely - have you got any photos of this carbon wrap in real life, and in close-up?

Also, it seems a shame to cover up your very nice and very expensive carbon bonnet with a vinyl..

red pinstripe around the wheel rims and it's about spot on imo. (although i still think you should change them for some lightweight 19's  )
