Hey,

Need a few bits done on my car and was wondering if anyone knew of any good garages to go to? Either that or anyone with a bit of technical knowledge fancy giving me a hand? Will supply tea/beer, food, etc.

Thanks

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

I also have a 91 8v digi, fun trying to get it running properly isn't it? :)  What are you planning to do with the pb engine if/when you remote it?

Yeah its hard work, was gonna try and use rubjonns tune up guide, but I need to steal a timing light and a CO2 meter off a mate first! Probably selling the engine, why are you looking for one? Its got a small coolant leak, but looks like its coming from the front of the block and we just done the HG, cambelt, waterpump, oil filter, and a few other bits a month or 2 ago.

got a ported+polished, big valve head, with newman cam + 2.0 bottom end to go in next week  Should be good for 140bhp and 140ft/lb! So looking forward to that one

Might well be interested in the head if you would contemplate splitting.

By far the best garage around Norwich area has to be Dunkirk Garage in Aylsham 01263 732900 & ask for Pete.. Super friendly guy & confirmed Dub lovin' petrolhead!
He knows how to set up Mk2 8v & 16v a treat & is pretty cheap compared to most.. I take mine to him every year for a tune & I'm amazed at how she runs afterwards.. Top bloke is Pete, though very busy most times so it's best to ring & book it in.. He also offers a FREE courtesy car but ask if you need one..
Hope that helps if you can't get your 8v quite right mate?
Never hold your farts in.. They travel up your spine and into your brain and that\'s where sh!tty ideas come from!
