16's on a mk2 would be fine if car is standard but have you lowered it?

I used to run 17" wheels but with a very low profile on a 16v
and that was fine

Hi Scott
If you check out my gallery you can see my old oak green valver with a set of 15" Azev A's on it. Some of the best looking wheels for a mk2 if you ask me. Little bit pricey but well worth it.
I still have them in my shed waiting til I find my replacement car if you wanna stick one on to see how it looks. Have you decided to keep your car now?

Cheers
Toby

Yeah you certainly can, I went with the 15's as I didn't want to mess with the handling at all. Once I had spent my ?700 and put em on I really wished I had gone for the 16's and put some lower profile rubber on to keep the overall diameter the same. Go for the 16's if you can afford the extra.
