Not going to happen i'm afraid guys...  :undecided:
Yes it's not mega expensive and yes it gives awesome midrange power (not that I need it now) . But it will also see my MPG suffer a little (do silly mileage remember) and I just don't want to push the DSG box to far.. Seems fine as it is at min and i'm more than happy with the car..
Only other mod I have on the cards is a ITG panel filter and that as they say is that!

Off to Pod tomorrow, so may see the 12's if I run it.. But tyres are down to 4mm, so probably not..

Just been up to the lakes in mine and got 370 miles out of a tank of petrol  - at one bit it looked like it was going to manage 390, but my foot twitched

If you use the power it will use the fuel, but it will use the fuel on a remap anyway if you use the power.

PS. On the second refill my foot twitched - A LOT locally around those lovely lakeland roads = 260 miles and a lot of fun

Only other mod I have on the cards is a ITG panel filter and that as they say is that!

....Next time you speak to Kev at Revo, Ben, ask him about ITG filters. He explained just why Revo think they are far and away the best. For a start, they are designed and produced specifically to the typical climates of territories. Another fact I learnt is that whereas on rally cars in harsh conditions, with K&N they had to change the filter after every stage, with ITG it was only every series.

Mmmm interesting.. Cheers Red..
It's the only one i'd look at anyway to be honest. After speaking to my man at Quattronics he says they are spot on, but you have to make 100% sure you fit them properly.. Bit of a tight squeeze by all accounts.. Think Luca's got one to IIRC..

I thinks it always wise to fit the extras that were used for testing and developing the generic maps on sale, so if revo stage 2 was developed with an ITG filter then thats what i would be buying.

....Absolutely right and one of the reasons most people buy Milltek exhausts which contribute significantly to releasing potential. In the UK, Milltek work closely with the tuners.

However, I don't think that all cars Revo use for development have ITG filters - Carl would be able to answer this. I do know for certain (firsthand) that Revo think very highly indeed of ITG filters.

I'm off out now to give mine an airing and meet up with some Biali Motorsport mates to play with our cars .
