Badge is VW genuine as has VW stampings on rear, also part nos sticker ect.  http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/catalog/                       (Nos 1 top selling item.)
Does the badge sit flush with grill when in position or is the right side, the "I" end recessed so the GTI batch pretty much facing forwards.
Badge been in postion a few times now and a bugger to get back out, so not wanting to put back on incorrectly.

Yes, received mine last week. Looks good. have fitted in same position offside grille. Should just fit in lug at back, but still moves slightly but can't really help that.
